Yeah, most of my lucids stem from the 'This has to be a dream, or else I am in deep shild' line of logic. |

Last night I had my 2nd experience with a LD. It started out as a regular dream, I wasn't lucid yet. I was walking along a stretch of highway when on the opposite side of me there was a man crossing the street. All of a sudden a car hits the man, and then speeds off. At that instant I was so shocked at what I saw I told myself "This can't be happening, this is a dream" I was snapped into lucid "mode" I guess you can say. I realized I was dreaming and ran over to the man. He cried for help and I turned myself into a doctor and rushed him to the hospital, where Dr. Alyara miraculously saved his life. I tried to keep myself in the lucid state but for some reason it faded and I was back to dreaming. Now my question is, has anyone else experienced something similar? Shocked into lucidity? Or is that just a reality check? |

A Night Away.
That's good awareness :] And maybe you have did some RCs with that "shocked" emotion? I know emotions can be very strong and real in dreams and doing reality checks to them can help a lot. But the "shocked" one and "fear" play the most role in many dreams. |

yeh once I was dreaming and all of a sudden this girl started going green and her head started spinning exorcist style and I just rememeber thinking "Oh god this can't be happening this must be a dream!" and sure enough it was and I became lucid and got the hell out of there |

LD count: 45
The majority of my lucid dreams have occurred that way over the past few months. "Hm, I must be dreaming. Sweet." |
