      Need some help =/

I am still a newbie at the LDs, right now I'm only doing DILD; but for some reason, I can't seem to wake myself up or make myself notice that I am dreaming. Then when I wake up, I try to remember, but nothing happens; I fall back asleep and then wake up; then I remember I was dreaming. Then *facepalm* ...Idk how to make myself notice that I am dreaming Help? Pleaseeee~ Thank you so much in advance <3

      Hi!

Welcome to DV! I'm happy you are getting into this.

I recommend you to visit our tutorials. DILD is hard to come out without practice unless you are natural (so basically until you learned about LDing)

To get started, you can start a dream journal and write down everything you can recall from any of your dreams. Even if its 4am!

Second, you can do reality checks while awake. Look around and consider if you are dreaming or not, try to read something, makes sense? Look around and focus on what you are doing? Does everything makes sense to you? If not, you are dreaming. Get used to do this several times a day, sounds silly, but then you will get use to it and you will do this in your dreams. You might realize that a pink dog peeing over a flower with three faces makes no sense and you will become lucid.

Do not try to fly or go insane once you get lucidity or you will wake up, specially on your very firsts lucids.

I would give you a key, but I need to make more sorry! As soon as I make more I'll let you know.

Yeah. You will get used to it and you will be dreaming lucidly in no time.

If you got lucid dreams without knowing the meaning of lucidity, you are natural and it will be easier for you!

Alright. Oh, and does listen to music while you are falling asleep affect being lucid? Or, doesn't matter? o__O

      It helps to some people.

I actually tried twice with a hypnotic song and it does help to relax but it does not help to improve LD. You might try it, sound is $0.99 in amazonmp3. The song is called devi prayer.

Same thing with me...Only,i dont think about lucid dreams lol...Always have dream when i want .Sad that only after i wake up i remember to i dreamed...So,point is,i need more reality check.
Is that much important to wake up at 5:00 AM? Because as i understanded waking up at this time is to help dreaming...And remember to lucid dream going to happen.Well something like that.
