I wonder if you can focus pain into another part of your body than where it is being experienced. for example, if you had a headache, you could move the pain into your hand or something. hmm I dunno, what do you think? |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
You know what a while ago I was thinking the exact thame thing. Yea, I think it is possible. But do you mean in reality or in dreams? I think it may be possible in both given the concentration. |

I'm not sure, but you might want to look into acupuncture and how it works. Sticking pins in one area of the body to help heal a totally different part of the body sounds like it's in the ballpark of what you're wondering about. |

Hmm I dunno. I've not actually done anything like that, and I would not get into accupuncture. It should be possible in dreams, though. |

I know if you hurt your elbow and then stub your toe the toe will hurt and the elbow won't seem so bad anymore. But that's about it. |

Or, if you break your leg, break your face, and the leg won't seem so bad anymore. |

I agree with Howetzer. If you can control pain, why just move it? Make it go away. Like Turkeh, I can alleviate minor headaches fairly well, but I have to keep concentrating on it. As soon as my attention drifts somewhere else, *bam* headache is back. That's when I grab the 3 ibuprofen. |
