before i say what im supposed to say might as well say this , im sad because i had a dream last night about me missing the bus for school and i didnt get the message that it was a dream... but il try again anyways , Ok to the point

Have any of you ever went into " 3rd person " when in a LD i mean lets say you were dueling with swords.. wouldnt you want to see it in 3rd person rather than in first !?

Or what are some of the most original things youve done ( Ie not things like flying or being invisible )

Oh i have went into 3rd person lots of times... Hmm the most original... well i have played main character in an old DOS game, i've been in cartoons, fought with mudpeople in my backyard, witnessed a nuclear explosion several times, a meteor hitting earth, turned back time... If i remmember something else ill post it

In all my dreams I watch them from both 1st person and 3rd person. Its a very interesting sensation, but ive had it all my life. Even during the day, I'll sometimes just picture what im doing in 3d person, but in dremas i really see it as well as 1st person.

I've had a few dreams where I was watching in the 3rd person as I did something. It's usually been a part of the situation, though, like when I dream about Halo, which happenned a lot for about a month. It's very interesting when you can sense both a first and third person perspective of yourself, and it feels natural.

I frequently go into 3rd person in normal non lucid dreams, but I don't think I've ever gone into 3rd person in a lucid dream. Might be something to try next time though. They're always 1st person.

Funny you mention sword fighting. I have had several dreams that I have seen myself in the third person point of view. Most of which of when I was fighting. And one of them being with swords.
I never seem to loose or be scared either. Hope it stays that way.

I watch myself fight in 3rd person in my LD's.

I have been in the 3rd person in LDs as well as feeling like i was in 3rd person in real life.
The most unique thing i have done in an LD was probably when i drove a car through
an M.C. Escher-style painting and turned myself into a tesselation with turning gears in it.
That was pretty fun.

I have a lot of non-lucids in the third-person. Like I'm watching a TV show, but moving around in it at the same time. Weird.

Third person, yeah, about half and half. For stuff like kissing it's always first person, regular talking can be either, and fighting is mostly third person.
Most original thing... man i've done so much stuff i can't pin one!

I've had non-lucid dreams in 3rd person, some viewing myself, and others where I was just observing other people. I've also dreamed in 2D several times, these dreams were mostly influenced by videogames
