Have you ever talked to yourself in a dream.

One thing I've noticed in a lot of dreams, is the absense of something. That being yourself. The only time one sees themselfs, seems to be when they look in a mirror.

Besides OOBEing has anyone seen their actual selfs and talked to theirselfs... if so please tell us the experience.

Some times you can dream in 3rd person, or switch people in mid dream, in which case you can see yourself. Though I am not sure if thats what you mean heh.

      Summon

Hey. About 4 months ago, I became lucid and I summoned myself. I shouted out loud to summon myself. I wanted to ask myself some questions which maybe my subconscious could answer (personal life related questions) Eventually, I saw me. I was in the distance and we started walking towards each other. As I got closer to me, the other me started turning black, as in the closer I got, the more I would turn into a black version of me! (I am white). I found it quite funny in the dream and asked me why I was black but then said look anyway, I wanna ask you some questions. As soon as I started asking, there was a loud noise, like a helicopter or something, blocking my responses and I couldn't hear me. It was so frustrating! I didnt actually get any answers! The dream faded after that.
Lucid at least once a week, mainly on weekends.

I've had a non lucid dream where I picked my younger self up from elementary school...sort of like my current self was the father and my younger self was the son. I don't remember too many details about that particular dream, but I do remember asking my younger self how my day at school was and other such small talk.

I somtimes see myself as a third person, as if it was a movie scene. I see myself in action. Those have all been non lucid.

In my lucid dreams I talk to myself all the time. Like I would if I were awake.

I've done that a few times, but I never talked to myself.

Usually I would go back and forth between being myself to being some random 3rd person DC and watching myself. But either it happened when I wasn't lucid, or it happed so fast that I didn't even have the time to contemplate engaging myself in conversation.

Would be interesting to try though!

      Yep

Yea, see thats weird. Why is it so hard to see your self (as you are now exactly, not younger, no difference at all) without it being 3rd person or a mirror or a picture??

Whats neet I think is that all those dream characters are parts of ourselfs...

However, theoretically if you were to meet your exact self, that would be your subconscious whole. If your speaking to your whole self, instead of just a part, you can get alot more done (quesiton wise).

Though, i've never heard of someone actually meeting themselfs, without it being 3rd person, mirror, oobe, or whatever. I have been able to meet my self with a simple technique.

I go up to a mirror and tell my reflection to walk out of the mirror (I usually have to turn 90degrees away for it to work) my subconscious whole (ME) walks out of the mirror..
and at that moment, theres always a rush for the dream to end, as if I did something wrong. Another thing is whenver I talk to my self in the dream, myself seems to be a lot more aware of what is happening and alot more wise than regular dream characters.

It's really a trip to see yourself, try it.

P.S. if anyone has experienced this please tell me about it... it seems to be a real rarity.
