Say you become lucid and decide to bend time. Now, I know the brain has amazing capabilites, so would it be capable of stretching fifteen or an hour to seem like, say, a year or two? Maybe even a lifetime? |

If I understand your question correctly, YES. I as well as other have "stopped" time in our lucid dreams. I only managed to get about 4 days out of it while some have said months. I'm sure with practice it would be possible, after all anything is..... |

The thing is you don't really get more time. If you have a dream that last 4 days, try to think about what you did during that time. I am willing to bet that you did not do 4 days worth of stuff. |

I've had dreams that seem to last for days/months but the dreams are always really segmented. It's like watching a sport highlights program of a period of time. It only shows the most important parts then goes on. I think this could be how the brain breaks down time for you in the dream. Time isn't really perceptually effected, it's just broken down into a way that's easily swallowable. |
