Q: Qi
I: Induced
L: Lucid
D: Dream

A while ago, I posted a question here on Dreamviews about something strange I can do while breathing. I was informed that what I was doing was using Qi. Qi is also known as Chi and Ki, but to be honest the name we give it is irrelevant, so for the purposes of this thread I will be using the name Qi.

The definition of Qi as found in an English dictionary:
n. The vital force believed in Taoism and other Chinese thought to be inherent in all things. The unimpeded circulation of chi and a balance of its negative and positive forms in the body are held to be essential to good health in traditional Chinese medicine.

I know not everyone can control their Qi 'flow' (for lack of a better word) in their body. If you cannot, I think it is a learnable thing that comes with practice, although that is a topic for a different thread. The purpose I had in mind in this thread was that people who DO have the necessary control can try it and see the results. So, here are the results of my first experiments:

Code:
Day 1:
I was laying in my bed and decided I would try to stimulate my Qi flow while laying still. The feeling I got was a falling feeling, very similar to what I experienced when I was completely under Sleep Paralysis and falling into a dream (although that, too, was unsuccessful.) I didn't take it too far, just noticed the feeling and capabilities. If the Qi could simulate the body being in Sleep Paralysis for the mind, it would be like we are tricking the body AND the mind. Just what I am thinking.

It made me very relaxed and also cleared my mind.
