      Arrow Flake's RC Method.

      Hi!

      I am an effective MILDer, with a few lucids a month under my belt at current and increasing. I thought I would share something that I beleive helps me.

      Everytime, I RC, I use my most common dream RC, and then I do the following:

      I pretend, that I am now lucid, and play out in my head what I would do. This is especially usefull for dream goals.

      For example, right now I am sitting on my bed, lights out at 2340. I perform a Palm RC. I say to myself "My finger WENT through (though it obviously didn't) Thus I must be dreaming!" and then I concentrate on my tasks:

      "What was my Lucid Goal? Oh yeah, Advanced TOTM; fly through a forest of Truffula Trees."

      I will then do this for my current scenario. "okay I need to get outside, I will walk outside and find the forest... (notice the positive/affirmative "I WILL" attitude)"

      and I just plan my way to my goals like that. I rarely try to spawn anything, as this will destabilise my lucid, but rather let my dream spawn it for me.

      One last thing. At every step in my lucid, i critically analyse what I have done. what are the odds of this working? what are the odds of my losing lucidity? what are the odds of me getting distracted? what are the odds of me waking up/destabilising?

      so let's do a complete example now...

      Palm RC -> Lucid.

      Okay, i think i might just dance on the ceiling now... how to do that though.... okay the wall is there, i will lean against it and pretend that gravity goes that way, then walk up it to the roof... same thing again. bam, standing on the roof. now to change gravity back without falling off... I am stuck to it with magnets... Gravity will pull everything down but NOT me from the roof.

      Okay will climbing the walls work though? what if i just do a handstand and then let gravity pull me upto the roof?

      etc. etc. you get the idea?

      EVERY RC: Pretend to become lucid, then plan out your lucid goals.

      hey what if you skipped the reality checks and at the same intervals just said "i'm dreaming" and then pretended to carry out desired dream actions?
