      Hwen's Workbook

Hello there! Finally finished filling out this workbook. We shall call it...
      ...This Workbook.

      Reality Checks:
      Nose-plug.
      Turning clocks backwards.
      Dream Signs:
Finally admitting to this one guy that I have a crush on him
If I try and run in a dream, I am unable to go anywhere. The more urgent it is and the harder I run, the more likely I am to only move slower than walking.
      General dream (il)logic.
      Short-Term Goals:
Have lucids on a more regular basis.
Have lucids that don't crash instantly.
      Long-Term Goals:
High amount of control (flying, teleportation, time dilation, et cetera)
      LONG lucids.
Use dreams to test out characters and settings for stories.
      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
At the very least one clearly defined scene per night.
      Current Technique:
Telling myself that I'm dreaming as I fall asleep, basically a very lazy DILD.

Amen about the holodeck thing by the way, that's what I tell people all the time. And we get to program it ourselves. Sure it can be a little glitchy, but it's ours, and it's free!

I admit that over the years that I've been on DV, I too had convinced myself that lucid dreaming (or rather, certain ways of attaining lucidity) sounded damn complicated and unreachable. Over the past year, through these classes, and a brilliant new group of staff, we've gone through and streamlined the process alot. Our aim is to make LDing attainable to ALL, and not just a finicky few who labor languishingly over time-consuming tutorials and superfluous steps (read that last part with the voice of Professor McGonagall in your head, it's more funnier).

Anyway, I'm glad you're starting over with us. I kinda did the same thing recently and I'm glad I did. We'll do whatever we can to help you. PM me anytime if you have a question.
