Welcome Odonata! It's great to have you here. I'm excited for the start of your journey and that you've already had good success on your very first night!

Dream recall is the foundation of your practices, and already you've taken a tremendous stride forward. One of the unexpected pleasures that I found in lucid dreaming was just how much the wild, unorthodox, and entertaining non-lucid dreams sustained me between lucid dreams.

Also, fantastic observation in realizing that the "annoying" DC was trying to get you to focus attention onto your hands! You've nailed it! It's exciting to think how close you were on this one.

Unusually strong, exaggerated emotional reactions are also another hallmark of dreams and a great dreamsign in and of themselves.

Congratulations once again on an excellent first night! I'm really looking forward to watching your progress!
