The other night i was dreaming about indians, i was a cowboy, and we were fighting a huge group of indians. Suddenly as they started approaching me i turend around to look for the rest of the cowboys, but no ones was there. So i started running, but by this time i was half awake. Although i knew waht i was doing i couldnt control it and i started runing around the hosue screaming that indians where chasing me. My parents had no idea what was goin on and it took them a good 15 minutes to calm me down. A similar thing has happened to me before when i was about 10. In my dream i walked down stairs and opend the fridge to look for some food, but the fridge was totally empty. Still hungry i slept walked into the lounge took a plate of buiscuits from some visitors we had over, sat down and started eating them, they had no idea what was goin on and without a word i got up and went back to bed. Both times i only rember bits of what i was doing but had no conrtol what so ever. What happened??? |

"I was looking back to see if you were looking back at me to see me looking back at you".
Be Here Now
I know exactly what you are talking about, it happened to me twice when I was little. About age 10. I had the flu or something with fever, my parents were out and my sister was taking care of me, she was only 12 then. Anyways I was dreaming that the world was comming to an end, like the ULTIMATE apocalypse of good an evil, i mean REALLY BAD STUFF, anyway I must have had sleep paralysis of some sort, but what I can remember was screaming my head off, awake not dreaming, but for some reason the dream I had had and reality were mixed. So my sister comes running into my room, scared as hell, and asks me what wrong, and i start crying and telling her we have to get out of the house cause the world is comming to an end. It took her 15 minutes to calm me down. You have to understand I was 10, at that age (at least for me) you dont cry let alone scream your head off after a nightmare. This nightmare with the apocalypse was a reacuring dream which resulted in sleep paralyis every time. That was one of the worst experiances in my child hood, the problem being that this haunted me for a long long time, when I would force myself to stay up and not sleep in the fear that it would happen again. Im older now, no more sleep paralysis and that apocalypse dream is also gone. |
