Loud pulsating static noise

I dream every night and in colour. I usually have some control in my dreams, some nights more than others. I need advise on a dream that I had last night. All was going fine in the dream until I lay down on a sofa opposite a large old TV. The TV was playing static and the volume was getting louder and louder with a slight pulsating ring. It got so loud that I wanted to wake myself up. I started to open my eyes and realised I was laying in the same position that I had been on the dream sofa but in my own bed. I could still hear the loud noise and there was a figure standing at the end of my bed. I closed my eyes and I could see the old TV again, and hear the loud noise. I opened my eyes for the second time, the figure and noise were still there. I closed my eyes again and the picture turned to black, I was finally awake, no noise no figure but my ears were still ringing. I have beed told that you can hear a similar noise when you astro travel. Could the noise that I heard be coming from the figure who was traveling as I certainly didn't travel anywhere. Bon dreams x
