      Dream Signs?

Hi, I'm pretty new to Dream Views, and I just have a question about dream views. I seem to be having a really hard time identifying my dream sign, but then again I've only been keeping a dream journal for about a month. I've had 2 lucid dreams so far, one of them two days ago, and the other three days ago.

How long did it take before you could identify your dream sign(s)?

You should be able to pick something out of your journal after this time. Is there nothing that shows up in 4 or 5 dreams?

It could be something as simple as finding yourself at a certain place or walking down the road.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

The thing is, often, I find that my dreams will repeat themselves once or twice, except with a character being different, or the plot ending differently. I usually vaguely realize I've been in the situation before, and then the plot changes slightly so its seems less scary if its a nightmare, or I achieve a goal I couldn't achieve at first, but then when the dream occurs again, I achieve my goal because I know kind of what to expect in my dream, and what to do to achieve it.

I don't think any of the re-occuring plots and such would be considered a dream sign though, because I'll usually only have the same dream two or three times.

I find that each of these re-occuring dreams are completely different.

I think you should try to detect any illogical or weird thing that repeats throughout your dreams. Than you should find analog in your everydays life. Every time it happens try to logically consider pros and cons for dreaming state. If you get used to it, maybe it should work also in dreams.
For example I have dreams about exams often. The exercises chage every time I look at them and I even cannot write anything except hyrogliphs. So I took this as dreamsign. Every time I take a pen in my hand I do dream state test.

I've been keeping a dream diary for over a year now and although I can see some good benefits I haven't managed to identify any regular dreamsigns.

A couple of things that occasionally happen could be considered dreamsigns, but they happen so rarely it's difficult to get into thinking of them as dream signs. Whenever they happen I spend some time trying to build an association in my mind, but they only seem to happen when I've forgotten all about them

That said, I have noticed I've recently been going through a phase of having a recurring place in my dreams, but I'm going to make a seperate post about that so I don't hijack your thread.
