      Hey everyone!

Hi! I'm a 15 year old who (like many, I'm sure) recently saw Inception and was intrigued. A few of my friends got me thinking about lucid dreaming while talking about it, and so I looked it up. I was surprised to find that it isn't just a self-aware dream, but a dream that can be completely controlled; I have to try it. I started my dream journal last night, recording two dreams I had in a nap (though I didn't remember any from last night).

I had thought I had a lucid dream once about a year ago, but now that I know what they really are I realize that couldn't be the case. I had a reasonable amount of control over what was going on, even bending physics, but I was still unaware that I was dreaming.

Also: is it possible to have a dream in which you know you're dreaming but you can't control it? I feel like I've had a few in years past in which I just realized I was dreaming but didn't go lucid.

It is possible, as the level of control over the dreams can be varied from person to person and also depends on your skills. So have a good start and acquire knowledge and practice.
      Good Luck!!!!

To fulfill your Dreams, you have to Wake up.

Slight update; I went to sleep earlier than usual in hopes of waking myself up to maximize the potential of recording a dream. I decided to try a WILD at the beginning (having no idea if I was doing it right, but why not?) and I managed to get into a position that dug my headphone into my ear painfully, waking me up about an hour after I fell asleep (just now). I can recall two big fragments of dreams already, and recording them just felt good, like I'm on the way to lucid dreaming. Gonna go back to sleep now, hopefully I'll have more dreams to record in the morning!
