Well ... they say that LD's are so vivid that it can greatly parallel or even exceed our waking life. That's why a good ol reality check will clear up any misconceptions. |

hey what's up guys. i never knew there was a thing called lucid dreaming until this afternoon!! i searched the net about it and ended up here. i think it's really neat, and i'm about to start practicing the basics. but one thing i've been wondering when i was reading around: guides keep saying to do reality checks periodically. whenever i dream, i KNOW i'm dreaming, and it seems totally different from the real world. if you master lucid dreaming, do you really not know if you are dreaming or if you are in the real world? that idea really creeps me out lol |

lol err i meant that when i'm NOT dreaming i know i'm not, and i highly doubt i'm a natural lucid dreamer. i've had it maybe twice in my life, and when i found out i was dreaming, i woke up. i guess you could say i got excited or something. |

So many variables, so little knowledge.
this is my first time here to. I am a slight lucid dreamer, i am not exactly sure what you guys call it and what stage i am in, but i have had some great experiences. My friend was all in it and it helped me out. Thats why i am doing it all the time now |

Welcome! Hope you have many more lucids in the future |
