      Dreaming of being awake

      Hi all,

I m new here, I ve started only 3 days ago. I ve always remembered very well my dreams before and I ve always been deeply into them. Then a friend told me about LD and I read this site which gave me the idea of going for it.

It is really funy because after reading the tutorial, I dreamt that I woke up, that I couldn t switch the light otherwise I would wake up my wife and started (in the dream) to write my previous dream in the book I just bought (I bought it for real .

I don t know if any of you have experienced that and what was strange is that it didn t only feel real but I had all the constraints from the real world. Could barely see because it was dark and I found the stuff exactly where it was before. Then I had another dream and then I woke up. This gives me 3 dreams in a night

I hope it is not going to be like this all the time ))

      Cheers,

      John.

The first page in my dream journal says "YOU'RE DREAMING!" and I always make sure I check that first page just in case. I wouldn't want to waste a dream writing down another one.

Just three days or so ago, I "woke up" and began writing my dream in my journal, even getting mad at other people for distracting me as I was writing the dream, and then I really did wake up. First "false awakening" I remembered, and somewhat amusing thinking back on it. I was convinced I was awake, only to find out I wasn't.

Welcome, by the way. If you're interested in lucid dreaming, this is the place to be.

      Welcome to the forum!
Sounds to me like you had an FA (False Awakening).....if you want to read more, I think there is a tutorial on it!

      Thanks

Many thanks all for your answers.

I will try the thing with writing in my journal that I am dreaming. Maybe it will help

      Hello,
I always dream of being awake and starting my day ie getting ready for work, running the bath etc. It feels the same as any other day.. And then I wake up. My first thoughts are always 'oh no now I have to get ready for work all over again!'
Last night I was plagued with these dreams!

My first false awakening is when I set my alarm for 6:00am and had a dream if getting out of my bed to shut it off then woke up and really shut it off I have strange dreams
If you want to check out my checklist click right HERE

If a man believes his dream is his reality when he wakes up is this now his dream or does he believe he hadn't been dreaming at all?
