Hi, I registered on this site because of a particularly strange lucid dream I had today. My name is Alex, I'm living in Guadalajara and I'm a physician student, an amateur cook, a musician, singer and a passionate dreamer. I feel so intrigued about dreaming and about lucid dreaming (that has happened to me since I can recall) that I'm seriously considering to become a Dream Medicine specialist. I hope to find here avid dreamers as me and I hope to find interesting human beings as well. BTW sometimes, when I'm depressed (e.g. when I moved from home to college), I use to sleep a lot. The first time that happened me I used to sleep for like 2 consecutive days or so. I know, it was a health problem (which I solved), but at the same time, I had the chance to improve my lucid dreaming. In those days I found my personal way for lucid dreaming and I've been doing it for at least once each 2 weeks. Oh Lucid Dreaming community, has someone else experienced this? (I mean, sleeping wildly while depressed and developing your lucid dreaming since then)

I first developed an interest in lucid dreaming while recovering from depression and insomnia. As I was improving my sleep habits, I was getting more sleep and got interested in the science of sleep and eventually LD. Welcome. You will find many interesting people and information here.
