Hello!

Hey, I thought I'd make a hello thread. I had my first lucid dream about three years ago, completely by mistake. I took a nap one afternoon and for the first time (that I've remembered) noticed that my teeth falling out was something that only ever happened in dreams. After realizing this, I got trapped in a rather long series of false-awakenings, eventually realizing I was still asleep and becoming lucid. I was able to fly around a bit, but couldn't do much else and eventually divebombed into a dumpster and woke up. The other day I stumbled across this website and decided to put some effort into keeping a dream journal. That night I tried consciously to remember my dreams for the first time, and I had my second ever lucid dream -- which I thought was pretty amazing progress. I'm gonna give it another shot tonight, wish me luck. In the surreal dream that lead up to my first lucid experience, I met a girl with a dog. She said something that I found at the time very interesting, but I can't remember what. I hope somenight to find her again. Anyways, hello.
