Why Hello There

Well since this is my first time posting, I suppose I better introduce myself. I've been to this site a few times to pick up on some techniques to Lucid Dream, but I never bothered registering until now. I've only ever had 2 LDs in my life. One was a very long time ago and the other being quite recently. I haven't really tried any specific techniques. That's why I've come here. I've had a taste of one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had, and now I crave to learn everything that I can about it. I must admit, however, that I have somewhat of a "hidden agenda". I guess you can't call it that since I don't really keep it secret, but my sole reason to learn to control my dreams would be that I just want to talk to my best friend who passed away 8 months ago from an accidental overdose. Ironically, he is the person that first told me about Lucid Dreaming before either of us even knew what it was. He told me his step dad could control his dreams. Anyway, off that sad note, it's time to do some learning. Sweet dreams, everyone.

Welcome I'm new-ish too but I had an account last year. This forum is great and everyone on here is pretty nice. I'm sorry for what happened to your friend! That's a great idea to be able to talk to him via dreaming! I should do that for some of my relatives. Once again, welcome

Thanks Hannah and Foul, nice to meet you guys. hat's a great idea to be able to talk to him via dreaming! I should do that for some of my relatives. Yeah I had the idea one day after I dreamed about him. It was weird because it feels like I've forgotten what he would be like, but in my dream he was exactly as I remembered. So I figured my subconcious must remember him in great detail. Here's to hoping!
