I am kind of new to lucid dreaming.I haven't had my first LD yet but i hope i get it soon .
I am trying to LD using both DILD and WILD.I do reality checks all the time and repeat mantras all the time.I have also made a Dream Journal and i right now i have about 11 dreams written in it so far.I am trying to lucid dream since the last month but have started taking it seriously since this month.I have two questions:-
1)In most of the dreams i have in most of them it involves me doing something with my friends and family(like hanging out with them).So is this my Dream Sign? .And if this is my Dream Sign what can i do to increase my chances of having LD?
2)I have tried WILDing about 20 times all during a nap(i once tried it with WBTB but i was feeling too sleepy that i lost my consciousness maybe because i woke up for only 5 minutes).During WILD i encounter three stages of sleep paralysis-
i)First Stage-During this stage i have a slight tingling feeling all over my body as well as some vibrations.
ii)Second Stage-During this stage the vibration get more intense and i have a feeling of heaviness(it was unbearable at first but now i have no problems).Also there are some noises and the surrounding noises suppress(only by a small amount).
iii)Third Stage-I have only reached this stage one time.I was trying to WILD and was sleepy because of a lot of travel.I had consciousness but it was fading.By the time i reached second stage i didn't even realize it.Then i almost slept and started seeing a dream.In the dream i was sleeping on a hammock and suddenly one of the strings broke and and as i was falling down my consciousness kicked in and i could feel my legs going down.I was in a state similar to stage two but my body was heavier and there was a lot of sound suppressed.
So basically as for the second question i want to know that if my progress for WILDing is going good and ways i can improve it .
