Control Factor

hey guys, Once i had a lucid dream, where i consciously created almost every setting and situation, from beginning to end. i achieved this spontaneously one time as i was falling back to sleep; I was consciously aware i was falling into the dream. I havent been able to do this since, and that was more than half a year ago. okay so when i have dreams everyday, i'm aware (or subconsciously aware) i'm dreaming. what i have trouble with is getting the awareness to be able to control my dreams. For example - whenever i'm in a emergency situation (which is most of the time), i naturally act towards that situation; whether it be running away, or fighting. The thing is, I don't have to deal with these situations.. Anyways I'd like get to the point of lucidness where its like, "hey.. its a DREAM, i KNOW i can do whatever i want!!". So my question is, how do i get there? This is like my plateau At the moment, i'm working on implenting reality check into everyday life.
