"Pink Socks"

Ok, I spent all yesterday telling myself that a certain person would be wearing pink socks in my dream (very unlikely) and that I would then realize I was dreaming. I can still see this person re-inforcing the "Pink Sock" thing in my dream, but I just went along with it as if he was making some sort of fashion statement. When I woke up I new I should acted on this. Is triyng to reinforce the "ridiculous" the wrong way to go about things. But at least this suggestion did carry through.

I'm not an expert but I think the socks thing was something new to your dream so that’s why you just accepted it. When looking for dream signs we should look at our dream journals and find something that occurs often in the dream. If pink socks show up often then you would have a better chance at being aware of the dream. You should practice something like "when I see pink socks I'm Dreaming or will do a reality check"

Hey dreamboat As dreamtamer was saying, try to incorporate a reality check into the situation. The one that's worked the best for me is to hold my nose and try to breathe through it. If I can breathe I'm dreaming, and vice versa. So, whenever you see someone wear pink socks, make sure the first thing you think about is "do a reality check". -Amé
