It's not lucid unless you are aware you are dreaming, ok. |

In the mornings, my girlfriend always calls me at about 7:40am before she goes to work (I don't have to get up for work till a bit later |

You know, the same thing happens to me but with texts instead of voice calls. I'm not really sure how it would be classified, but to me it feels much like a false awakening. Start reality checking during these calls and maybe you can get yourself an easy LD. |

Cheers for the replies. I know it's not a lucid, but the sense of reality that I dream of feels so real. I agree with you Ryan that it's probably best described as a false awakening. What I would like to do though, is get into this dream/reality state and become lucid. The reality checks would deffo be useful, I just need to find a way of replicating this state without getting my girlfriend to call me in the morning to do it! |

As much as that would be great, Parny, I think you will agree with me that, however realistic it may feel, it is an instable state of sleep. It would be much better if you would achieve the necessary steps toward Lucid Dreaming in the traditional way, in your sleep, or in naps in the afternoon. |

Cheers for the info Kamus. I'll probs not be following up on it, I was just a little intrigued as it only really started happening recently and has been pretty consistent in occuring. |
