      Hello :) - New to LD'ing

      Howzit everyone,

After a bit of googling i stumbled across this site, read a few forum posts and its very interesting. I had my first LD last night, after hearing about it i always wanted to have one and last night it just sort of happened. I just wanna know if this sounds sort of correct in terms of it being a "proper" lucid dream. Apologies if its a long read

At first i was lying on bed within the dream, i remember thinking to myself (Okay im in a dream, this is okay). While i was in bed within the dream i couldn't move really, more just observe what was going on. Then once i had eventually confirmed to myself that i'm in a dream i made myself transport to another scene.
I travelled through a space tunnel following a huge light - which was awesome -.

Eventually at my next scene i attempted to get out of bed. Everytime i would stand up everything started to shake - almost as if the world was going to break. I did manage to get out and be able to walk around no probs. I started creating like a HUGE thor hammer and hit stuff, all the people in the dream just ignored me really, like i was doing nothing wrong. Then I did something to make the world "break", cant remember what.
I then woke up (not properly but woke up in another dream). Just to check if i was still dreaming or not, I asked some1 who was sitting there when my Mates birthday was and he gave me the wrong answer, then i realised hah another dream and i made everyone disappear in a puff of smoke. After that i cant remember .

But sho, it was an amazing experience. Does it sound remotely like a lucid dream that could be managed/mastered ?

      thanks

For your first Lucid dream that's quite an achievement. If you realise that you're dreaming, then yes, it is a lucid dream, although there's not really a perfect lucid dream, but you seem to have had quite a lot of control, so learn to make it stable and become familiar, and you should be able to do quite a lot. Also, where abouts in SA are you from?

awesome, ty for the reply. I shall be reading up on a few techniques.

I see people were talking about iso tones. I got a program called I-doser, also one of the audio tones to give you certain feelings etc. I think i'll give that a try soon and see if it works

I'm from busy busy Johannesburg. At work now cringing, atleast i have nice info to keep me busy

Yeah, there are a variety of sounds, food etc. that are supposed to help.

I used to live there. Well, Mondeor to be exact.
