choice of music in dream?

Hi, I'm new to the whole lucid dreaming thing (I've only had a few very slight ones years ago), but it sounds amazing! I'd been writing down what dreams I'd been having for the past few days when I had an idea. Could it be possible to listen to a certain song/CD in a dream? I suppose you would have to know it by heart of course. I mean wouldn't it be cool to fly around listening to Dark Side of the Moon or some other dreamy/spacey sounding music? Have any of you LD Pros been able to listen to specific music of your choice? If so, how and was it close to the real thing?

Hi, welcome. It's good your excited about lucid dreaming, as that excitement will make it more likely that you'll have one soon. This thread is active and discusses whether it's possible to summon music in a dream. It seems like a common method is listening to an ipod in a dream, since your brain is used to hearing music that way. I started the thread because I had the same question.
