Thread: Newbie!

Hi, My name's Chase, I am at Florida State in Tallahassee.

I first checked this site out about a month ago. I'd had lucid dreams before (just knew i was in a dream) but never new the details about it, and how cool it actually was. After reading ALOT on this site and a few others, that night I controlled a dream (a little bit anyway).

I was at an empty Sonic (so far in any of my lucid dreams that i have controlled something, no one else has been in them). I realized i was dreaming when i looked at my watch and it was turning backwards. I tried just willing it to stop and it did, and then i looked up and concentrated on making it go forward a couple hours, and looked back and it had. I got really excited and woke up (i think, had a couple of false awakenings that night, where ironically i explained to my friend Matt what happened in my dream, kinda funny).

Anyway, whether i was truly awake or not, I focused on the Sonic and the scenery and didn't move or open my eyes, and i was back. So I calmed down and got the price on the gas station sign to change... it kinda rolled like on the WalMart commercials. Then the whole sign started to flip and such. So I decided that it was time to fly... yeah, that didnt work, just jumped like normal and nothing happened.
