I'm new to the forum.....I am thankful for Dream Views!

Hi,

I am new to the forum and I must say that I like the feel of Dream views. For years I thought it was very weird that I can remember 95% of my dreams. There were times where I swore I could even control them, because I would become aware for a few minutes before waking up.

I found this site by accident and it is a goldmine buried in the wonders of the net. I have read some of the post and links and it made me feel more positive about my dream and not wierd. Everyone I know either says they can't dream or can't remember them.

I have love to dream since i was a child. My dreams, like my writing, has gotten me through some tough times in my life. When ever I am having a hard time I usually have good or informative dreams that help me get through the problem. More recently, my dreams has shown me that I need to follow what come naturally as a career. I am secretary by profession, but have taken the steps to pursue what is in my heart-writing and photography. I give credit to my dreams for that because each night these two subjects invade my dream as if to push me in that direction. I quit a stressful and horrible job and followed my dream to find a better place for me in advertising. I am now surrounded by creative people for eight hours a day and for the first time in a long time my writers block is gone. So yes, I do believe dreams have purpose.

I look foward to sharing my dreams, feedback, thoughts and links with our board members. I just wanted to say thank you to the moderators for building this community. I now have a place to learn more about dreams, lucidity and meet others who have the same dreams as me.
