      WILD eye problems

I have been trying to do WILDs recently, however I find that as I am focusing on the images, my eyes start to slowly opening perhaps thinking that they are really trying to look at something... I have tried some things from relaxing for a good 30 minutes first to hope that my eyes will stay shut, and also lying down with my face in a pillow so that they have to stay shut. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any advice?

i've had exactly the same problem.

      1) try having the room darker so theres nothing to look at.
      2) try wearing a sleep mask so the extra pressure will make it easier to keep them closed
      3) try adjusting how much you wake yourself up, so you're sleepier and they stay shut better, or you dont notice it as much.

i think you have to get it so you're not noticing your eyes at all. BTW, I haven't actually had a successful WILD yet.
I spilled spot remover on my dog. He's gone now.

thanks, the mask is a good idea... Today i actually had a semisuccessful WILD. I was focusing on relaxing so when i returned to looking at the images, my eyes wouldn't open, however, i nodded off longer than i expected and started to dream a bit, then i remembered my goal all of a sudden and tried to realize what i was seeing... I was in a strange room for about ten seconds before my excitement woke me up again... keep at it, i just started about a week ago and im seeing some progress. I think getting some ear plugs and and eye thingie will make a big difference because external noises always seem to float into my mind when i least want them too.
