Has anyone had a dream in a dream?

Hello, I am new on this site and have a question. Has anyone ever fell asleep in their dream and started to dream. . . again. A long time ago I was dreaming I was at a farm and I got tired and fell asleep. . . all of a sudden I was in a dream and knew I was dreaming. . .(what fun I had and the first dream where I knew I was dreaming) and then i woke up to my previous dream and thought... wow, that was so cool. and then that dream continued on. (only now I didn't know I was dreaaming. . . imagine my confusion when i woke up for real!! I never met anyone else who had one of these. I never had one like this again either.
well , thanks, love this site!!!

Welcome to the forum! We hope that you enjoy your stay.
It sounds like you had a LD that you lost lucidity in. Also, that does sound like a FA (False Awakening, meaning you wake up inside a Dream).

I had a dream very much like that one. I was in hawaii ( In real life) on vacation. In the dream I was in a messed up version of my house in what probably was the living room, but like I said it was messed up. This lasted for about 30 seconds. After that I "woke up" and started to write the dream in my journal. I know that writing it down was also a dream because I was writing on graph papper and not the normal lined paper. After that I flopped back down and fell back into my original dream.

      BTW: WELCOME!
I am a leaf on the wind... watch how I soar!

yeah man, thats a false awakening. They are pretty cool, except they catch you off guard when you think you could be LDing.
