i have heard that in the dream you sometimes have more fingers on 1 hand, your voice sounds different, you look different and other stuff after realizing all this do you go back to normal?

Think about it. You're in a dream, so what you is the representation of yourself. So if you do notice something and remember being different it will be like that. Your thoughts create the environment around you, it's just very difficult to visualize all 10 of your fingers perfectly in your head. Go ahead, try to create a mental image of your hands, see if you can clearly get all 10 fingers, that's the reason why you notice these differences.

but throughout the dream do they stay like that cuz wont it be hard to hold stuff?

It's not hard to hold things, even if you have more than 10 or less than 10 fingers. When you pick things up, you're not really thinking about how many fingers you have, so why would it affect the dream state? And you dont always have more or less than 10 fingers, sometimes the dream can be extremely realistic.
