How do I have lucid dreams?

I'm new so I don't have a clue on how to have one, can someone help me get started?

Please look at a few of the sticky threads in this forum section. They should help you get started. You can also go to the tutorial section to learn how to have a lucid dream. Welcome to dream views though! I hope you become successful in your dreams.

Hello! Welcome to dreamviews!

First you just wanna start keeping a Dream Journal until you have about a dozen dreams written down. Then after that start trying the techniques, this is the best way to do it IMO.

Also look in the tutorials for Lucid Dreaming techniques , but I would recommend keeping a dream journal until you have about a dozen or more written down. After that don't stop writing in it.

The reason you would keep a DJ before attempting is because it will help you recognize your Dream Signs. Once you can recognize these, LDing should come way easier.

Also, when you write your dreams down go into a lot of detail, it makes it way easier to recognize Dream Signs.

Ok, first, take your right or left hand and raise it to your nose. Then take your thumb and index finger and pinch said nose. Now, try breathing through your clogged nostrils. Can you breathe? If yes, then congratulations you're dreaming! That was called a Reality Check and there are many many more where that came from. Welcome to Dreamviews..
