I want to LD!! *suggestions plz*

Last few weeks i've been getting into this website and practicing dream recall and hav a bit of a collection of dreams i've written down and i have "am i Dreaming" down the side of my finger like one of the users mention in general discussion for RC, sorry forgot your name!! , and reality check every so often during the day and night when i am awake, pause and really think about it and my environment. I've only had 2 lucid experiences that i could remember and hav written them down and they werent anything flash, the first one (not gonna blabber on bout a big story) but i came aware i was dreaming then woke up into another dream and became lucid in that and then woke up (for real) and wrote it down, and last night i realised i was dreaming and woke up straight away and wrote down the dream. The thing i want to know, is there anyother ways i can contribute to have more chance of LD's? i read through the forums before i go to bed and think about it alot and really focus on it before i try to sleep. I sooo want to LD!! and today i found out that a mate at school LD's all the time, and he's like " i thought that was normal for everyone..." and rob (another mate) and i are like damn you ...but yeah any suggestions or whatever u mght consider relevant would be helpful...cheers! ...completely off the subject...everytime i go to this site and happen to glance down at the time, its always 11:11PM is that tapped or what?

      Welcome on board!

Sounds to me like you are doing everything correctly. I suspect that it's just a matter of time now before your first one.

Have you experimented yet with many of the induction techniques like HILD, MILD and WILD?

I have no idea what is going on with the time

Do you get excited when you realize you're dreaming? A lot of people tend to do that at first and that's an easy way to lose lucidity or wake up. Next time you're lucid, remember to just stay calm and think rationally. It also helps to decide exactly what you're going to do before you go to bed, so that way when you're dreaming you don't have to stop and take the time to think about it.

      Hope that helped

      hey

      hey there...

i am too new to trying to induce lucid dreaming....

I have not yet completeda WILD, etc... but I have became lucid...

This is a technique that I have gotten the farthest with is this...

Put something at the end of your bed so it raises your feet up...like pillows, clothes....

Lay down with your feet up...and Relax. I found this is the easiest way for me to relax...

      Breath in.. "1"
      Breath out... "Im dreaming"
      Breath in.. "2"
      Breath out... "Im dreaming"
      Breath in "3"

      etc...etc...etc...

Just continue all this till you start to SP, etc...

Maybe you could try working out before bed as well, that worked for me sometimes...
