      Exclamation Dream Recall... AGHHH

So I thought I got the whole Dream Recall thing...
      I guess not.

I've tried a bunch of techniques:
      Journalling First
      Auto-Suggestion
      A Keyword List

      Etc... etc..

Sometimes I get to recall a dream.
One night, in fact, I recalled 3,
      very short, hazy dreams.

Most of the time.. I can't remember
      a single one!

      Any help anyone?

Are you still keeping a dream journal? It's important to be consistent and keep with it.

How long do you sleep a night? It's possible you aren't getting enough sleep.

Yeah, I keep it by my bed and even
      when I don't remember one, I write
      that.

I've been really jetlagged these last
days so that could have to do with it.
      Keep dreaming.

Yeah the jetlag most likely has something to do with it. But how long are you actually sleeping?

Last night I got probably 7 hours,
      6 hours the night before.
      Keep dreaming.

Hmm as you most likely know more sleep means more REM sleep which means more dreams. If your schedule permits, try sleeping 8-9 hours. That should help your recall increase because you're having more dreams. And more dreams means more chances to recall.

Oh I see, thanks! I appreciate it.
I'll try getting more sleep. I've also
been setting alarms for like 4, and 5:30
hours after I fall asleep, like right after
      my REM periods.
      Keep dreaming.

The alarms might be messing up your sleep you can try without them. I'm sure your recall will come back soon.

Sweet! I naturally remembered two last night!
I woke up randomly at 2:00, and remembered
a pretty vivid dream, then I remembered another
when I woke up in the morning.
