Thread: Can you have conversations with DC's?

This has been bothering me for a while. Can you have full out conversations with a DC? Someone you don't know or barely know? I do't know if this question is obvious but i'm curious.

I'm pretty sure you could. But I'm guessing that the conversation would be really random as they are part of the dream and dreams a random.

But I'm sure that you could do it. No harm in tryin man!

It doesn't matter if you know them or not. Dream characters seem to act differently for everyone. Mine seem intelligent enough. I can have a conversation with them and they often seem just like normal people. When I know a DC in real life they often act just like the person in real life. Obviously the better I know the person the more accurate their DC can become. I have even convinced several dream characters that I am dreaming and they just accept it.

Other people report having stupid or senseless dream characters who can't seem to hold conversations. Dream character behavior isn't even consistent from night to night for me.

Having a conversation with a DC would probably be like having a conversation with someone you just met. Sorta...

You: Hi, what's your name?
DC: Riffelsmitzz!
You: So what are you doing?
DC: Playing ping pong with Henry The Chicken
You: Fascinating... So what's your job?
DC: Mass murder.
You: Bye...
