      oy!

Nice to meet you all! I am so happy to have found this site! I am one step closer to having a lucid dream! I guess ill tell you all my lifes story about how I got here the boring noob stuff etc... =P

As long as I can remember, I always had this feeling that there is always something hiding under the surface of things. I would question everything to find out what lies behind the ordinary meanings of things. My teachers would yell at me for asking so many questions, my parents would yell at me for questioning their blind authority. It made no sense to me, it still doesn't. One of those things that interested me that was "under the surface" was the immaterial, supernatural side of things. I would watch cartoons and stuff and wish that I could be doing the things that the characters were doing...flying, ninjas skills, everything.

I can't quite remember since it was so long ago but at this time around age 4-8ish I believe my dreams were quite ordinary, I wasn't that into them, probably because my mind was so erratic that the first thought that arrived into my mind when I woke up each day would distract me from remembering what I just dreamt about.

Then one day, I randomly made up these beings or gods in my mind, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. I think i got the names from blues clues. =D. Each night I would ask Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper to help me dream about a certain subject. I don't think the success rate was very high, so I eventually forgot about them and dreaming once again..

Then I hit puberty at around 14-15, I'll just cut to the chase and say that I had an amazing wet dream and my interest in dreaming was renewed again. Then somehow I discovered OBES, got interested in medieval occultism, plus I have always had an interest in magick. Right now Im 18 by the way And so, the first step on my path to wherever I'm headed is to master lucid dreaming. I believe that if I can master lucid dreaming, my mind will transform and I will have a different, more experienced way of looking at things. I also love having fun and with so many things to do while your lucid, I look forward to having a blast! I give thanks to whoever created this website, and plan to learn as much as I can from it. Thanks!

Hahaha, quite an entrance. Welcome to the forums, it sounds like you have a lot of interest in learning and advancing your knowledge in lucid dream. That is definitely a good start, you should record all of your dream activity whether it be on a notepad, computer, whatever. The more you record your dreams the more you will have, the more vivid they will become, and a better chance at achieving a lucid. Good luck to you and if you need help with anything else feel free to ask or send me a pm if you want.

Welcome to the forum Carzlebub! Thanks for reminding me of Blues Clues, I used to love that show. Anyways, I can definitely relate to this, I used to watch Dragonball Z as a kid, and would then try to re-enact the fight scenes in my dreams. Lucid dreaming is the best way to have fun with that kind of stuff, there are no limitations!

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. There is a tutorial section (linked below) that you can look through to learn about the different techniques, and the acronyms used on this site. You should become familiar with those so that you can better articulate your questions to us. When first starting out, you should begin keeping a dream journal in order to improve your dream recall.

Good luck, and enjoy your stay
