New to Lucid Dreaming

I was writing a essay on the behavior while Sleeping, when i stumbled to a section about dreams and it was then i was intrduce to lucid dreaming, that was about 3 weeks ago and i have just grown more facinated by the idea that one can simply realized that he/she is dreaming and possibly control or alter certain aspects of the dream. Seeming on how this happed to me on occasion i became even more fasinated. I didnt know that it was something that i could work on and improve myself in, i just thought "Whoa" that was cool and freaky at the same time, afraid to tell my friends about it because they might think that im insane. I Came across this site and like it better that any other site that i have used for current knowledge about Lucid Dreaming, and i hope that my experience here only betters my knowledge on Lucidity. I have an open mind and will exept any knowledge that anyone is willing to share.
