While reverse blinking, how long should you keep your eyes open?
You know the name right? Reverse blinking.. It's a blink, but in reverse.
A mila second, the same speed you would blink normally. It's just to make your eyes relax so they don't move around while you are trying to induce a lucid. You don't even have to focus on anything when you blink and try to do it every 3-4 seconds for about 5 minutes. That's what works best for me :)
I think I'd have to disagree with the above posts.

Basically, open them long enough so that you can focus on a spot and recognize what you are looking at.
Edit: Although different things may work for different people, maybe for some people focusing on something does not work. Try different things and you will find out what works best for you
