      Reverse blinking question

While reverse blinking, how long should you keep your eyes open?

You know the name right? Reverse blinking.. It's a blink, but in reverse.

A mila second, the same speed you would blink normally. It's just to make your eyes relax so they don't move around while you are trying to induce a lucid. You don't even have to focus on anything when you blink and try to do it every 3-4 seconds for about 5 minutes. That's what works best for me

I think I'd have to disagree with the above posts.

Get comfy and relaxed. Close your eyes. Now, every 5 seconds or so open them quickly, only long enough to focus on something then close them. It's like blinking in reverse.[/i]
This is from the original "Reverse Blinking Thread"

I closed my eyes again but had the urge to look back again. I kept doing this every once in a while just to make sure the spider doesn't fall on me or something (I really hate spiders!) and since I was trying to WILD and didn't want to move from my spot I kept doing this and bam the relaxation came over me and I got deeper into WILD! So I figured the reverse blinking had to do something with that and strangely it does...
Basically, open them long enough so that you can focus on a spot and recognize what you are looking at.

Edit: Although different things may work for different people, maybe for some people focusing on something does not work. Try different things and you will find out what works best for you
