Well I have imrpoved my dream recall and I have been able to remember atleast 1 dream a night for about 5 days, so am I ready to start attempting lucidity. Also if I am what should I try first?, I do reality checks whenever I can too.

Hey coolbot, you sound like you are ready to start to lucid dream. Try a MILD or just keep preforming reality checks, and youll be lucid in no time!

Yes, you can't be sure if it was an LD if you can't be sure if you was aware of it. Awareness is the only thing you need to have to be lucid.

Anyway, as Barbizzle said, you could try MILD, but also WILD if you want to. I got my first LDs when I tried WILD even though I didn't succeed. It makes you think about lucid dreaming before you fall asleep, which greatly increases the chance of DILD.

      Good luck for you!

When i first joined, i made the mistake of thinking i could try everything at once. My dream recall went up in the first week, but after about a month it had gone almost completely. Without mastering the basics, and building on them, i approached it backwards and it pretty much fell apart.

This time, i'm going to focus on just natural dreaming. I'm going to be highly conscious of dreams, i'm going to remember them all the time. This should have the natural effect of experiencing dreams more vividly and eventually i will recognise things in real time, instead of when i wake up. I think LD's come later, i'm going to master the basics first.

My Opinion: No matter how much you want them, or how serious you are, you have to be patient.

Personally i'm just going to slowly stick at it, keep building it up.
