      Arizona ,, The Introduction

I got into Lucid Dreaming about five months after my father passed away, I had been having very inense dreams that related to his death. Their effect was to scare me so much that i realized I was dreaming. This got me interested in researching information. For about three months I was really intensely into it and as a result, expericed a few LD's. But I took a break after a few dreams in a row that scared the hell out of me.. I felt that mabey my subconsious was telling me i was quite ready to delve in so deep.
Its been about a year since then and I feel like im ready to get back into it.. I miss the insight in the subconsious that I used to have. Also I really want to use it as a source of creative inspiration for my work.

      Hi
And welcome back. The only advice I can give you is to think about reading a book or two on Lucid Dreaming. Stephen LaBerge has a few that are good for starters. As a matter of fact I'm on my way to the library to pick up my third one from him. Most Libraries have a linking computerized system that accounts for most of the states Libraries and for les then a 10-dollar fee per year they will get books from all over the state. I bought a few on line but the Library is the cheapest way but not always the most in selection.

Hey there AZ I'm glad you joined us here at DV and I hope that you are able to learn whatever you're setting your mind to. Having had some experience will help in initiating them. If you need any ideas on what to do in your LDs, we've got a couple of posts around here with rather long lists!

If you have any questions feel free to give us a holler! See ya 'round.

      Hello Arizona

Sorry to here of your father. I too had my mothe pass on and she has been in several of my lucid dreams. They were very unsettling at first. But I, like you, wanted to use my subconscious to my advantage. My first step was realizing that there is nothing to be afraid of. If your subconcscious does have something to tell you then GREAT! As I think everyones does, if they pay attention.
But you have nothing to fear. In fact now I look forward to my visits from my mother.
I do not know your beliefs so that is about as much as I can tell you.
Good luck in bringing out that creative inspiration, it is in there, you just have to find it.

Yes............But I would advise that LaBerges books are more or less the same. (Re-Hashes). Just buy the one.
I'm Staring at you from behind. It's the Eyes on the back of your neck. Feel the Burn.
