first short lucid experience brought me here

Hello all, I'm very new to this site and want to share my experience with people that are also interested in this matter. I know this is an 'introduce yourself' thread is, so I'll just keep it to that. I'm Nicholas, I'm from Leuven, Belgium and I've always been so very interested in dreams. I remember most of my dreams pretty thoroughly, lifelike. It's only recently though that I actually wanted to start lucid dreaming - I never thought out the possibility. I've been doing some 'research' about this matter only recently and I watched some films about dreaming (waking life, inception, vanilla sky). After reading some techniques on wikihow I started to use my festival wristbands as a token of knowing if I'm dreaming or not. With success. Yesterday I had my first (short) lucid dream experience. I'm going to post that story in the right thread later, but I i'm so glad I found this large forum full with people with this common interest. So hello again everyone.

Welcome to DVs!!! Congrats on your first lucid! Now it is good for you to recall and enjoy that lucid dream! Make sure you write it down and try to record your dreams. The first lucid is the hardest, so now you are on the way of a ton more lucids!!! Drop me an PM if you need any help!
