      Can't ger first Lucid

Hi, I was trying for 2 weeks, but I can't get my first Lucid. I was doing about 20-40 different reality check's a day. But I haven't done It not even once In a dream. I'm writting my dream journal (well I couldnt remember my dreams veery well) - ~4 dreams a week and it's not very detailed, I tryed to lay in the bed to remember It. I tryed Mandra before sleep "When I will be sleeping, I will do a Reality check" or "When I will be sleeping, I will remember that I'm sleeping. I tryed MILD not helping. I tryed DEILD I just can't remember not to move, It's like a reflex for me to move, after a sleep of waking up! I tryed WILD, can't get to It, cuz im falling asleep after along time and it's just to much for me. So why i can't get that f****** Lucid. I was trying everythink!!! I even read up all DV tutorials a few times. And some of Users tutorials but it's not helping, I cant get Lucid dream, and I dont know why.. Please, Please Help!

Apparently it takes a while.. I'm first week in and nothing yet.. Dream recall and number of dreams per night slightly increased though.

You know, it really takes a lot of patience for you to have a Lucid Dream. My tip for you is don't give up and try and try 'til you succeed. Look at my record: 20 LDs in 5 months. Some of the folks i've seen here even has only one 1 LD for a year, so um, like what I said, PATIENCE.

Two weeks is almost nothing, pick a technique and stick with it for couple of months and see if it's going to work. And don't be frustrated that you still haven't had an LD, just relax and keep practicing.

What about mixing techniques. For E.X. one day i'll do thath technique another day i'll do another? For ex. today Deild tomorrow WILD? Or it is so important to stick to one technique. What if that one technique that i will stick is not good for me? What about mixing till i find that works best for me?

That's like saying: Today I will try and play the piano, tomorrow the drums or something else. Yes maybe the technique you're going to pick won't be good for you, but you won't know unless you try. I wouldn't suggest WILD as it's sort of like an advanced technique, I don't think it's too good for beginners. Why don't you try MILD(Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dream)

Here's a very good tutorial by Naiya http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/naiyas...0/#post1708074

Yeah I agree, but its pretty discouraging trying to WILD like 30 times and not getting SP once....

From personal experience, don't get anxious. I know it's frustating to really want an LD, but if you swarm yourself with stress of going to bed and having an LD, just going to be harder.

I suggest you to try ADA, there's this amazing guide by KingYoshi. Not only it helps you attaining lucidity, but will also make your dreams more vivid, increasing the chances that you will remember them. Good luck!

Hi again, I just had readed Naiya's Simple Mild Tutorial. It was pretty cool. So alot of people told me to stick to 1 technique, not to jump one to another, that way I will never give my self to master any technique. So I wan't to learn MILD or DEILD. And I don't know what should I stick to?? Any solutions? Im beginer (2weeks). I havent Lucid not event once. So What you think would be better to start with. I will practise It for a long time, until i will see results. So help me make my desicion. What should I choose to start learning MILD or DEILD?? What is easer and giving nearer results? Please answer this
