Well, I don't know where you live, but if it's in the United States, a cheap and viable alternative is Melatonin. It's the chemical in the body that makes you tired, so taking about 3 mg makes the average person feel very sleepy in about 30 minutes. Some people may need more, but try 3 mg first, and if it doesn't work, wait a few days for it to work itself out of your system (you don't want to build up a resistance or dependance) and try an increased dose, like 6 mg. It's safe up to doses more than 2 grams, since it's a naturally occuring chemical in your mind, and more than the normal presence of the chemical doesn't seem to have side effects. I think there might be some tighter restrictions on it in places such as Australia, but I'm not sure. Anyway, a bottle of 60 3mg tablets costs $5 or less and can be found at any GNC store. |
