      Need A Little Help?

      Well I've lucid dreamed before, but somehow I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't control it. I simply went on with whatever was going on to start with. I would greatly enjoy it if somehow could give me some tips on how to start lucid dreaming, and I heard somewhere about some kind of "Dream guide" or somethng like that? An animal or something that will guide you in your dreams? I was also wondering if someone could give me information on that Thank you so much!

      To start you off, I highly recommend for you to read this thread. It is Puffin's Beginner's Guide to Lucid Dreaming, and will get you started right away!

      A dream guide is a dream character who helps you and knows more about your dream than the average dream character; some believe that it is a manifestation of your subconscious.

      We also have a section of staff called "Dream Guides" that can help you if you have any questions about lucid dreaming. You can find a list of Dream Guides here. Good luck!

      I advise you try this structure in order to begin LDing regularly!

      Start Dream Journal (Improve Recall) > Reality Check in the day + All Day Awareness > DILD > Mantra before bed > MILD > stay still when you wake up > DEILD.
