      Pregnancy and 'better' dreaming

      Hi,

Not sure if anyone else would have any insight into this but I am currently 4 months pregnant and my dreams seems to be a whole lot better than before pregnancy! I used to only remember 1 a night if I was lucky but now I remember 3 or 4 dreams a night and that's without writing anything down. I also seem to remember a lot more of the dream. Could be due to the fact that I am waking up for the toilet every few hours.

My question is has anyone else had children and while pregnant had more luck with lucid dreaming? I am hoping that I might have more luck seeing as I get so many more dreams and so much more vivid!

      Thanks guys...

      Eloura

      Hello, Eloura.

I don’t have any children, but I have been pregnant. I didn’t notice much of a change in lucidity, however I did notice that I had more nightmares. Then again, that could have simply been due to the circumstances surrounding the situation. Given a brighter condition at the time, the results may have been vastly different.

I’m sorry. I wish I could give you a better answer than that. For now, all I can do is wish you an easy and healthy pregnancy and pleasant dreaming! Feel free to share your experiences with us.

Bright blessings and may you have a happy and healthy child. ^_^

I think because you are happy you are pregnant and that you have a baby coming in your life you are relieved. When you become happier in reality it is a sign that your dreams will probably become better.

Happy dreaming and a blessed birthing.

its because you wake up every two hours and go to the bathroom..you awnserd it your self

remmber the whole ''we go through sleep stages'' and the last stage is rem sleep u probebly wake up right after that and by doing so everytwo hours u remmber ur dream and have much more chance of being lucid if used it to ur advantage..wake up and back to sleep method... cheers

You've got a 50/50 chance of getting it right, hardly psychic. Hey Eloura have you done much mediation before? I ask this becasue I've always been fasinated by what it would be like mediating with a baby inside of me, im a guy so it's never going to happen. But I really recomend you getting into some meditation whilst your pregnent it will be sure it help you and the baby and you've still got half of the pregnancy left. Also if you can workout lucid dreaming fast enough, try contacting yuor baby or their spirit perhaps ?

I have to agree. During my pregnancy I unfortunately knew nothing about lucid dreaming (I wish I had) but I knew ALOT about having to "go" every 5 minutes!

I don't remember if I had more dreams but like A Lost Soul I do remember having one very vivid nightmare which I still recall to this day. I was also in a bad situation and that, along with all the hormonal changes, could account for that dream..

eloura, may your child be healthy and bring you as much joy and pride as my child has brought me!

p.s.. I played classical music softly for my baby while he was still in my womb.. it calmed him and I honestly believe it was good for him mentally as well.

Bastard_x5- Yes it does feel really special. I find out in two weeks if it is a boy or girl, so I will let you know! Although my husband is insistent it is a girl, I have been having dreams it is a boy so who knows....oh and if it is a girl, the name will be Anastasia, if it is a boy, don't know yet, maybe Damian (there's your D).

Griffon- I have done meditation before, haven't done any in a while though. But you are right I should do some I think I might very soon.

I haven't read anything yet on waking and going straight back into lucid dreaming but I think I will try and find out more about that. But I wouldn't have the slightest idea on how to find my baby and track down their spirit, but I guess maybe in my dreams I will know how to do this. Maybe that is more like dream sharing (which I am also fascinated in).
