      Future predictions?

      Well, where should I start?

I am not Lucid dreamer, I have "tried" it, but it wasn't very sucessful. The only thing that changed, is that I have become more focused on small details and contadictions that often occur in my dreams.

I have noticed I am dreaming more intensly when I have a lot on my mind(studing, exams,...) and for some reason I have a strange felling of Deja Vu on competly unsignificant things in my life, like siting on a bus, drinking soda,...

But the next example is alot more complicated. I am still slightly shocked by it.

I was having a dream about the internet (you may find this humorous, as I did and still do), a particural site, actully. This site.
In the dream, I found it very funny and I really don't know why, since it is far from the purpose the site "really" has.
The dream acured yesterday night and I didn't really pay much attention to it, until I actully found it, last night, and it scared the living crap out of me.
It was a lot bigger deal, that I had allready seen it before and was walking around my room completly shocked until for 4 in the morning.

My question, if this is normal?
I know of dreams somehow predicting near future events, but I never thought it would be to such big shock. Maybe it's the content (which isn't for everyone), but I really don't know.

P.S. Don't take the site so seriously. The guy who made it is actully a screenwriter who made a script out of this.

Welcome, and that does seem quite odd.

Depending on how detailed you remembered it (and it matches), it may simply just be a big coincidence. Big coincidences happen all the time

On the other hand, my wife claims to have dreamt of her high school long before seeing it. When she came to the school, she instantly knew her way around it, without having been there previously.

      Welcome, slovenian!

While Placebo retains some skepticism, I am a Seer, and can say that I have often had irrefutable foresight in dreams, among other venues. It may not be "normal" per se, but it is certainly (and in the excerpted cases of yours and his wife) obviously possible.

Don't let other people's opinions and reactions discourage you from pursuing this aspect of your dreams, of yourself. I know you said you haven't had much luck with lucid dreams, but perhaps if you gave it another chance, and maybe tried some of the methods here -- which are tried and true -- you may in fact find that the two, i.e. precog and lucidity, can and do go very well together.

The Tutorials section has an enormous list of techniques, as well as troubleshooting, or in otherwords, frequently encountered problems, and ways to go about getting around them and solving them. You might find that where you had trouble before, some of these things may help you succeed.

If by skepticism you mean keeping an open mind as to the possible explanations, and examining them equally - then yes I do
You'll notice that I mention my wife having an amazing experience, and naturally I trust her word as well.

I have had dreams like that too. I lived out my whole day in school. These small predictions of the future happen every once in a while. Everyone gets them. The more recall you have the more chance you are likely to happen. It is your subconcious telling you what is going to happen in the future to prepare you.

For lucidity I reccommend WILD and MILD in the tutorials in the link Ramu posted. Those seem to get best results.

I hope that your dreaming improves,

      Yume Kotoarashiku.

My apologies, your first and second sentences misled me.
