I had a lucid dream last night!

I just had one of the best lucid dreams last night ... well, more correctly this morning - early. I was kind of getting discouraged for a bit because I wasn't having much success, but my confidence was boosted this morning.

I remember gathering shopping carts at work and having some dissapear on me all of a sudden, so I asked myself if I was dreaming, and I immediatly knew that I was. I was pretty excited about it and spent a little time just looking around, thinking how real it all was.

I then woke up, but it was a false awakening, but I didn't realize it until I started writing my dream down in my dream journal. For some reason I knew that I wasn't really writing it down, so I must have been dreaming. I went outside, did a few funny things - made a big dog chase other people and stuff, and then I tried to fly, but I couldn't! I felt it frustrating. Shortly after trying to fly a few times, I woke up.

Hey, I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to fly in a lucid dream. Is there any technique to it at all?

For me, I just knew I could fly and felt that I knew how to, and it worked. I just ran with my arms spread out, and at one point lifted both my legs up off the ground.

Oh, thanx! I didn't realize there was a tutorial about flying. That's awesome! I'll check it out.

Yeah, when I tried to fly in my dream, I actually got frustrated and climbed up on a cliff and jumped off. I tried spreading my arms out to fly, but it felt like they were stuck to my body. So I fell and landed in a lake below. Anyway, at that point I woke up.
