      Seems I have no problem being aware of my dreams...

      Hey y'all. c:
      I literally just joined. Like ten minutes ago. I stumble onto this forum from a thread in 4chan's /x/ forum.

      For as long as I can remember, I've always been aware of my dreams, or the state I'm in. Even before I knew what Lucid Dreaming was, I've been able to say in my head, "hey, I'm dreaming!"
      However, it is much like I'm simply along for the ride. I cannot change the scenario or the environment. I've tried several different kinds of entering a lucid dream, and I encounter two large problems:
      Horrifying Hallucinations in sleep paralysis;
      Not being able to control my presence in the dream. (being along for the ride)
      If anyone can offer any help, I'f love a PM. Until then, I'll just be lurking the tutorials and such. c:

      Hi there my friend, go to the Site Leaders List and pm any of the people below the Dream Guides category. They're kinda experts when it comes to LDing, so I bet they'll be able to lend you a hand. Hope this helps

      Sounds interesting ^_^ But first of all, welcome!
      You seem to be a natural lucid dreamer, which is great! Although natural lucid dreamers can induce lucid dreams without too much will, it is recommended that you still start and keep a dream journal to help with your recall and it may fix your problem with not being able to control your lucid.
      If you have any questions, i'd be more than happy to try and answer them Otherwise, as weakmon's link above, there are site leaders there. People with green names and the title "Dream Guides" are pretty much dedicated to helping people here with dreaming and lucid dreaming.
      Also, be sure to check out the DreamViews Academy section!
      I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay~ Have fun~

      Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

      Thank you both for all of your help and direction. I've just started my dream journal and beginning some exploring of the WILD technique. c:
