      Alternate Awakening Methods

Are there any other ways, anything at all, on how to wake up? I slept through my alarm clock. I've always slept through my alarm clock. I can't think of anything else, the drinking before bed doesn't work because I use the restroom before I sleep and can hold off until after I wake-up. Anything else out there?

Try going to bed a bit earlier. I remember someone posting a link in DV chat and it had very good information about heavy/light sleepers, insomniacs and narcoleptics (sp?). It was a link to another ld forum site. Someone else probably has it

You must be sleeping few hours. As phallam said, you can go to sleep earlier.
Also, your alarm clock might be in low volume. If it's in high volume, place it somewhere far from your bed. I say that because in the night you may wake up, you turn it off...but in the morning you may not remember anything as you are too tired. So if you place it far, you have to stand up, something that wakes you up very well.

get a cd alarm clock, crank it up full volume and put in your favorite cd (nothing slow or light my advice Hard rock/ metal) and set it man, change the cd out every couple of days so you dont get used to it

I'm trying the setting the alarm clock further from my bed so I actually have to get up to turn it off rather than subconsciouslly knock around my hands until it stops making noise and resume sleep type thing.

When the alarm goes off...wake up and open the window. The breeze which will get in will wake you up very well

. Good work ! Now when you wake up, if you dont want to be drowsy...just open the window or throw cool water at your face. You can come up with many ideas how to wake up.

Have a glass of fruit juice or some coffee to get the metabolic system going (that's assuming you can actually get out of bed in the first place ;D)
