      First Post and First Experience

      Hi everyone,

This is my first post and I just wanted to share my experience last night and what I went through. I have been reading books and forums relating to dreaming and OBE over the last couple of year but it is only recently I have become determined to find out and experience more. Anyway I will try to explain my experience last night.

I set my alarm to go off after 4 and half hours sleep and I reminded myself before I went to sleep to not move after the alarm went off.

So I cant remember if my alarm prompted me but I remember having a dulled vision of seeing through my closed eyelids. I concentrated on moving my non physical arms then I was out of my bed. I felt the wall in my bedroom I still did not have clear vision but I knew where I was and what I was doing although I never actually thought I was dreaming.
I proceeded out of my bedroom and tried to walk through another door but couldnt. I stood outside my daughters bedroom and had a sense she was talking on her phone (she was not in the house though as she is on a camping trip).
I went back to my bedroom and did not notice my physical body in my bed I still never had a though I might be dreaming. I got back into bed then rolled back out and my wife said where have you disappeared to? For some reason I blew on her face she could feel it but could not see me and I thought this was funny.
I then remember falling backwards out of my bedroom window and thinking I will not hit the grass outside which I didnt. I think it was daytime outside even though it was probably about 4am.
I floated to my next door neighbours house knocked on the window and they both sat up in bed but could not see me. i then floated to my back garden which seemed much bigger than normal and had my children playing. They could hear me talking although I cant remember what i said but they could not see me. we played hide and seek by a slide (i havent got a slide in my garden) I then woke UP.

I dont recall ever having real lucidity although I do remember having some control on my actions but I never came to the realization at the time i might be dreaming.

What do you think happened to me. One thing is for sure I am going to explore this further. I also remembered a couple of other dreams very short and fragmented without any control.

Sorry for the long post but I had to get this out of me.

      Look forward to your comments

In an OOBE you can't communicate with "normal" people, or at least I never heard of someone who did...
And by the fact that you "woke up" and didn't snap to your body means it was probably
a lucid dream. I've had tons of lucid dreams in which this happened, but during an OOBE most of
the time you see thing that arent there.. if you notice really weird things, it's
      probably a lucid dream.
You also said that in some dreams you don't have control.. that is not the case. You just
have to practice dream control. Remember, it's your dream, it's not real, so laws don't apply.
During a dream your logical part is active, so most of the time some laws apply WHILE
you're not lucid. When you're lucid, you can bent them!
I'll look forward to more of your stories.

It was regular Lucid Dream experience with a lack of deepening. (Even thou, in my opinion, OBE and LDs are one and the same. there is no clear difference between them) Read some tutorials and threads about dream stabilization, all the spinning stuff, using your senses and you are good to go.
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.
